At our recent AGM held on Tuesday 21st of November, our club secretary Anne Osborne was awarded Club Person of the year. All members of the club without exception will certainly feel that Anne is a most deserving recipient of this award as she has been an exceptional club secretary, where no job was too big or small and all things were done with energy and enthusiasm. Her attitude as a club member and secretary is always to put the club first in all things even though she continued to be a working and prolific artist during this time. Anne always works with good humour and is pleasant and approachable at all times, willing to help in whatever way she can; even though her workload was always significant. Her kindness, understanding, advice and help during the year to everyone were second to none. She always gave 100% to all events and her commitment to maintain a close connection and good friendships with our local charities and neighbouring clubs made for a very successful time for the club. Anne seemed to take any issues that arose this year in her stride and came through it all with ease, good humour and efficiency. We all wish Anne huge congratulations!
