Remember to sign up for the Queen Maeve Women’s Charity Cycle which is being held next Saturday August 31st, beginning at 10am at Mercy College Sligo.
We’ve selected 2 great routes which are 50km and 80km (details on last post) and we are hoping to raise much needed funds for a great charity The Parkinson’s Association north west branch. All the proceeds from this event will go directly to this Charity, so effectively by doing this cycling event you will be supporting those in your community with this debilitating condition. Did you know many people with Parkinson’s use static bikes to get them moving in the morning if nothing else works. So the bike directly helps Parkinson’s suffers.
