 This event promoted by Innisfree Wheelers was held in horrific weather conditions on Friday night 31st of July. Unfortunately only six members managed to turn out for the event but this did not take from the tremendous competition on the night. Paul Flynn emerged the winner on the night after a great battle with Timmy McCarthy and Alan Kelly. The picture above shows Paul being presented with the GOAL cup for 2009 by last years winner Alan Kelly, watched on by club members about to depart for their Sunday spin. It was great to see Collette Hennigan turn up to watch the hill climb event - and those present were heartened to see that she is well on the road to recovery.
