The first Annual Boyle Fire and Rescue
Duathlon was held on Sunday 2nd of May and
quite a large field of cyclists/runners took
part. The event which consisted of a 5k run,
22k cycle and 5k run was held in ideal
conditions of sunny weather and a cool
breeze.
Three members of Innisfree Wheelers
represented the club at this event: John
Molloy, Barry O'Flynn and Timmy McCarthy.
John was first Innisfree man home in 32nd
position in a time of 1:26:26. He was
followed by Barry in a time of 1:29:04.
Timmy came in shortly after, recording a
time of 1:29:54.
